HBU Asset Recovery (the "Company") provides SMS notifications to individuals regarding unallocated equity, property audit updates, and recovery claim status. These messages are intended to facilitate the documentation and recovery process for tax, mortgage, and bankruptcy surplus funds.
2. How to Opt-In
Users opt-in to receive SMS communications by explicitly checking a consent box on our website contact forms. HBU Asset Recovery does not engage in unsolicited text messaging or "cold" automated texting without prior affirmative consent.
3. Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on the status of your recovery file. You can expect to receive updates during the audit, filing, and disbursement phases of our service.
4. Cost and Carrier Charges
HBU Asset Recovery does not charge for its SMS program; however, standard message and data rates may apply from your wireless provider. Check your mobile plan for details.
5. How to Opt-Out (STOP)
You may cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text STOP to (855) 619-2796 or reply STOP to any message you receive from us. After you send the SMS message "STOP" to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To join again, just sign up as you did the first time.
6. How to Get Help (HELP)
If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly at info@hbuassetrecovery.us or by calling (855) 619-2796.
7. Carrier Liability
Carriers (e.g., AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon) are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy and Data Sharing
HBU Asset Recovery respects your privacy. We will not share, rent, or sell your mobile information or SMS consent data with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your consent is used strictly for the purpose of communicating with you regarding your specific asset recovery file.
